A RACQUET CRAFTED FOR EVERY PLAYER
We primarily service tennis racquets, but also work on racquetball, squash and badminton racquets
STRING ESSENTIALS
Find the right string
When your strings make contact, they move out of alignment and then back into position. Certain string set-ups such as polyester/synthetic hybrid, natural gut/polyester hybrid and full polyester allow for smoother, low friction string movement. This string snap-back creates better trajectory, power and comfort. Although some players prefer a stiffer, all-synthetic string set-up.
Choose your string gauge
Strings range from 15 gauge (thickest) to 22 gauge (thinnest). If you’re a frequent string breaker and looking for more durability, try using a thicker gauge string. If you’re looking for a softer set-up with more feel and power, try using a thinner gauge. Just remember that when using thinner gauge string, it takes less effort to generate power compared to thicker gauge.
Get the most from your string
Strings lose tension and playability regardless of whether you’re using them or not. The moment your racquet comes off the stringing machine, your string tension begins to slowly decrease. For tournament and competitive players seeking the most responsive feel, it’s optimal to use your racquet within 24 to 48 hours after it’s been freshly strung. This is not as important for recreational players, but you’ll still feel the difference playing with a fresh set-up.
CUSTOMIZING
Racquet matching
Weight, balance and swing weight
Racquets purchased off the store shelf don’t always match your exact needs.
Having your racquets matched in weight, balance and swing weight ensures a consistent and reliable feel with each racquet you use. Frames can be made more stable, powerful, and comfortable by adding weight.
Grip modification
Grip re-sizing and custom grip
We offer grip re-sizing and custom grip shapes to help you find the perfect fit.
Everyone’s hands are different. Ideally, a player should be able to grip the racquet comfortably without squeezing too tightly. A properly fitted grip will improve your control over the racquet, enhancing your performance.
